A tax ID is a number your government assigns to your business when you register for tax. Adding a valid tax ID to your account may exempt you from tax.
Add your tax ID at checkout
When completing a purchase, Stripe’s checkout flow includes a field to enter your tax ID.
- At the payment screen, click Add a business tax ID.
- A tax ID field appears. The label varies by country. Enter your tax ID.
- Complete your purchase. The tax ID is saved to your account for future purchases.
Add your tax ID in account settings
You can add or update your tax ID at any time in your Runpod account settings.
- Go to Settings in the Runpod console.
- Under Account Information, find Tax ID.
- Enter your tax ID and save.
